London Congestion Charging (Vat Exempt):
From The 19 February 2007, The Congestion Charging Zone In London Will Extend To The West To Cover The Areas Of Bayswater, Notting Hill, North And South Kensington, High Street Kensington, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Belgravia And Pimlico.  However, Only The Avis Locations At Mayfair And Waterloo And Avis Prestige In Kensington Remain In The Zone.

The Charging Hours Within The Zone Will Be Shortened By 30 Minutes From 7.00am - 6.30pm To 7.00am - 6.00pm. The Charge Is UKL 8.00 If You Pay By Midnight On The Day Of Travel Or UKL 10.00 If You Pay By Midnight The Following Charging Day. The Fee Is Applicable Mon - Fri, No Charge Will Be Made On Public Holidays.

There Will Be A Charge For The Use Of Vehicles On Roads Within The Charging Zone, But Not For Using The Inner Ring Road Itself. The Locations Within The Zone Are Mayfair, Waterloo And Prestige.
Locations Providing Delivery & Collection In This Area Are Earls Court, Euston & Park Royal. Avis Will Automatically Purchase The UKL 8.00 Permit For The First Calendar Day Of Any Rental Commencing From These Locations Within Charging Hours And Add This Charge To The Rental Agreement. It Is The Customers Responsibility To Purchase Permits For Additional Days. There Will Be A UKL 80.00 Penalty For Failure To Purchase A Permit Per Offence.

If You Are Travelling To Dublin As Part Of Your Rental, There Is A Barrier-Free Tolling System (Eflow) On The M50 Motorway Between Junction 6 And Junction 7. The Vehicle Registration Number Is Recorded Without The Need For Payment At Toll Booths. There Is A 3 Charge For Each Journey Along This Stretch Of Road. As The Renter Of The Vehicle, You Are Responsible For Payment Of This Charge. You Can Pay Online Or By Phone Before Travelling. However, Payment Must Be Made Before 8pm On The Day Following Your Journey By One Of The Methods Shown Below:

If A Customer Has A New Style UK Driving Licence - They Must Show Both Parts. If They Only Have The Photo Id Part, A UKL 5.00 Fee Will Be Charged For Avis To Contact The Dvla To Verify The Licence.

An International Driving Licence Is Required If The Renter Or Additional Driver(S) Licence Is Non-Roman Alphabet, Except For Greek Licences, Which Are Acceptable.
UK Residents Must Provide A UK Licence. An International Licence Is Not Acceptable For UK Residents.
Visitors From Ec Countries Can Use Own Licence From Country Of Origin. This Includes Austria,Belgium,Czech Rep,Cyprus,

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
